  • Ensure appropriate backups exist unless we are contracted to provide backup services.
  • Ensure third‑party vendors or systems required for support are accessible.

Access to Systems

We may require access to client systems, networks, or devices to deliver support. Access is limited strictly to what is necessary. We do not process or store client personal data; any incidental exposure is treated confidentially and not retained.

Service Availability

Response times, availability, and service levels are defined in the applicable Service Agreement. Unless explicitly stated, no guarantee of uninterrupted service or specific resolution times is provided.

Exclusions

Managed IT Support does not include:

  • Hardware supply unless agreed separately.
  • Software development.

Work outside scope may be billed separately.

No Data Processing

Cloud and Data Limited does not process client personal data as part of cybersecurity services. Access to systems or logs is solely for identifying vulnerabilities or providing recommendations. No client data is copied, stored, or retained.

Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Ensure they have legal authority to request security testing.
  • Provide accurate information about their systems.
  • Notify relevant stakeholders before testing begins.
  • Maintain backups and recovery plans.

Testing Limitations

Cybersecurity testing may involve simulated attacks or probing. Clients acknowledge that:

  • Testing may temporarily affect system performance.
  • Some vulnerabilities may not be detectable.
  • No assessment can guarantee complete protection from threats.

Recommendations and Remediation

We provide recommendations based on findings. Implementation of remediation actions is the client’s responsibility unless separately contracted.

Liability for Cybersecurity Work

Cloud and Data Limited is not liable for:

  • Security incidents occurring before, during, or after testing.
  • Losses arising from vulnerabilities outside the agreed scope.
  • Failures by the client to implement recommended measures.

10.3 General Disclaimer for All Services

  • All services are provided with reasonable skill and care.
  • We do not guarantee specific outcomes or uninterrupted availability.
  • Clients remain responsible for compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.
  • Cloud and Data Limited does not act as a Data Processor under UK GDPR for any services provided.
